Terms of Use

Last updated 4 October 2026

Gig Rewind is a free place to keep track of the gigs you've been to. These terms are the agreement between you and Dan Edwards, who runs it. By creating an account or using Gig Rewind, you agree to them. The Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled.

Your account

  • You must be 13 or older to use Gig Rewind.
  • You log in with links sent to your email, so keep your email account secure. You're responsible for what happens in your Gig Rewind account.
  • An account is for one person. Please use your real first name, or a name you're happy for people you share with to see.

What you add

Your gigs, notes and photos stay yours. You give me permission to store them, make copies (such as resizing your photos), and show them to you and to anyone you share them with. That permission is only for running Gig Rewind, and it ends when you delete them or your account.

Only upload photos and write notes you have the right to share. That usually means photos you took yourself. Be thoughtful about people who appear in your photos.

What's not allowed

  • Anything illegal, or anything that promotes violence, hatred or harm to others.
  • Content that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights.
  • Other people's private information without their permission.
  • Sexual content, harassment or spam.
  • Trying to break, overload, scrape or get around the security of Gig Rewind, or to access other people's accounts.

Sharing

If you turn on sharing for your library or a gig, anyone with the link can view it. You decide who gets the link. Turning sharing off stops the link working, but it can't undo what people have already seen or saved.

Reporting a problem

If you see something on Gig Rewind that's illegal or breaks these terms, email dan@danedwards.me with the link to the page and what's wrong. I'll look at every report, remove content that breaks the law or these terms, and may suspend or close accounts that do. You can use the same address to complain about a decision I've made about your content.

Setlists, artist photos and tickets

  • Setlist information comes from setlist.fm and is shared under their licence. It may contain mistakes.
  • Artist photos come from Deezer and belong to their owners. They're shown only to identify the artist.
  • The tickets Gig Rewind creates are commemorative keepsakes. They aren't valid for entry to anything.
  • Gig Rewind isn't affiliated with setlist.fm, Deezer, any artist or venue, or Apple. iTunes, iPod and iPhone are trademarks of Apple Inc. Gig Rewind's look is a fond tribute to them.

The service

Gig Rewind is free and provided as it is. I'll do my best to keep it running and your library safe, but I can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes, so keep your own copies of photos that matter to you. I may change, pause or close the service. If I close it, I'll try to give you notice by email first.

If something goes wrong

As Gig Rewind is free, I'm not responsible for losses that come from using it, such as lost photos or notes, or for things outside my control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time (the Account button on a computer, or More → Account on a phone), and everything in it is removed. I may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Changes

If these terms change, I'll update them here and change the date at the top. If the changes are significant, I'll ask you to accept them again.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
